RADIO VOZ
THE PORTUGUESE SPEAKING COMMUNITY RADIO STATION
Radio Voz (voice radio) is part of the “Lusitania Project”, having as aims to provide services and enhance the conditions for integration of all Portuguese Speaking communities,(Portugal, Basil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, S.Tome and Prince) the Radio is a rather ambitious medium-long term venture dealing with cultural, musical and information topics that are of interest for these communities. It has the purpose of unifying the diverse Portuguese speaking communities scattered over London, although all the cultures and communities are most welcome to join and work with us.
Initially this project will consist on building a superior radio station where Portuguese speaking music will be broadcasted, as well as Portuguese spoken news casts. This will indeed help to inform the community of important issues such as integration, qualification aligned to UK legislation and also official information related to Consulate, banking and other news of relevance.
The people involved do have relevant background related to broadcasting.
Antonio Pereira, Bachelor in Law, was Broadcasting Director and broadcaster overseas in a well know radio station – Radio Altitude, in the city of Guarda – Portugal when he was a Ministry of Justice member.
Alcino Francisco is a journalist and director of a Portuguese newspaper issued in London and currently broadcaster at Zeta Radio 105.3 FM in Northfolk and was a renamed broadcaster overseas during 6 years.
Armando Ferreira who is a profissional broadcaster for 30 years.
Gilberto Ferraz is a volunteer and is a well know broadcaster in the BBC and representing RTP – Radio Television of Portugal in the UK.
Fernando Maria is a professional broadcaster and served several overseas radio stations and now owns his own radio station in Portugal www.radiotriangulo.com . We also have volunteers who have experience and progressed from other radios and willing to volunteer in Radio Voz
Alexys
Alexys, nasceu em Faro a 30 de Janeiro de 1974 e tem como signo o Aquario! Baptizado por Luis Alexandre, nome por quem inicialmente foi conhecido, inicio a sua aventura musical com apenas 11 anos,mas apenas por curiosidade nunca pensando chegar aonde ja chegou!
Sua primeira actuação ao vivo foi numa passagem de ano em Faro, 1987 para 1988! Daqui para a frente nunca mais parou!!!!
Gravou o seu primeiro trabalho discográfico pela Editora DUALSOM em 1989,fazendo mais cinco gravacoes para esta editora saindo so em 1995!
Esteve a trabalhar como entertainer em casa de Espectaculos no Algarve,Lisboa e em Londres com uma passagem em 1999 por Paris, alem de como musico em Diversas Festas por todo o pais!
Esta radicado em Londres desde 2002 e completanto os 20 anos de Carreira Grava o seu primeiro trabalho como artista a solo logo com a Editora Espacial e com Producao do KAPUEIRA-ESTUDIOS por Rogerio Caixinha e Elton RIbeiro ele esta agora (mais vale tarde do que nunca) a ter o seu valor a vir ao de cima com este seu novo CD E VERAO E VERAO que voce ja pode ouvir nas radios Portuguesas e em breve nas televisoes e tambem pelos palcos de todo Portugal!
Agora prepara o seu novo CD que espera ver no mercado em Junho com musicas quase todas da sua autoria, promete mais um ano em Cheio e com muita alegria para todos os que tem oportunidade de assistir aos seus concertos!
